Baby Boy Card

What a cute idea....little baby rompers hung on a washing line, complete with miniature clothes pegs!

This was another card I personalised for a friends baby boy.

Baby Girl card

Gorgeous little baby girl card.  Again this has been personalised to suit the new baby.

Minimal stamping and just a bit of patterned paper and a few embellishments to finish off another simple, but stunning end result.

All Aboard...Boy Birthday

This gorgeous little train stamp set makes wonderful cards for little boys.  This was personalised with the childs name also

I just love the simplicity of the design, but it has an amazing impact. An amazing keepsake card.

Fancy Folk Art Birthday Card

For another of my best friends.  This friend loves craft like I do, so I put some extra effort into making this knowing she would appreciate all the details.

Although this has many techniques, it all breaks down to a very easily achieved result.

The background is heat embossed with white and then sponged with stamp pad ink.  The circle is glued flat to the base and the floral coloured piece is die cut and mounted on foam tape for dimension.

The birthday greeting at the bottom is stamped onto a die cut and then I stamp the lower "wishes to you" again on a scrap, cut out and mount over the origianl with foam tape.

Done..........spectacular!!!!

Hairdresser's Birthday Card.......

Oh I just love making a card to suit the receiver!!!!!!!

I made this for my hairdressers special birthday.

Although the scissors are more like those a sewer would use, I am sure they conveyed the hairdressing theme well.

Very clean and simple card.

Male Card - By the Numbers Die

This was a birthday card for my son in law.

It was amazingly simple, but with using various coordinating patterned papers it is so easy to put together a professional, great looking card.

Birthday Elephant

This was another birthday card for a best friend, the same one who loves Elephants......

This is a lovely stamp set by an English company.

All cards like this are so very easy and limited colouring needed.

As I said previously, this type of stamp lends itself to the young and the young at heart - Ageless!!!

Young Lady Card

I made this for my step daughter's birthday.  I have always struggled with what to make a young person.  Floral cards are nice, but not really exciting when your in your mid 20's.

I found this very appropriate stamp set at a recent stamp fair in Melbourne.  I think this will suit a range of ages from 13 to 30.

Again this probably looks complicated, but it was very quick and easy.  It was water coloured and a little bit of paper piecing on the boot box.

Birthday Card

This is a gorgeous card I made for my best friends birthday recently.

She just loves all thing elephants and I find that's a huge bonus when I am able to make a handmade card to suit whatever the person likes!

Although this card is "cutsie", it lends itself to the young and the young at heart.

50th Birthday - two variations.....

I made this card using the Silhouette Cameo electronic cutting machine....every time I use it I am reminded of how amazing it is and its capabilities!

You will notice that the picture below is the negative of the first and in the top I used stamping as well.

These cards are very simple and therefore were very quick to make, but the design has great impact.

This card was for a lovely young lady who was volunteering with the elderly.

I just loved the colours and the flower is handmade from recycled kraft wrapping paper ( the stuff the put in parcels now a days to protect your purchases).

Quite a bit going on with this card, but I think it really works to make the card look so extra special.

Route 66 Car Card

A birthday card for the man in my life....he just loves classic cars, especially Mustangs.  I bought this stamp set with him in mind and had an absolute ball thinking up this card for him.

Although it didn't have a Mustang stamp, he was very pleased with it.

Some of the cards look complicated, but they are just different layers of paper and sometimes embossing the paper to give it texture can add a lovely depth too.
